Fall is upon us once again, and if you’re willing to look past the early sunsets and cold (ish) weather, there are a bunch of great reasons to get out and take advantage of the offerings of Southern Georgian Bay.

Here’s an event worth trekking into the 13 degree weather for- Wasaga Beach’s First (and hopefully annual) Fall Hootenanny! Not sure what a Hootenanny is, neither were we… but apparently it brings out Country Music Singers- including Headliner Country Singer Jason Blaine! The event takes place on Saturday, October 6th, at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex, starting at noon and running until 7 pm.

A Beer garden and axe throwing (great combination), petting zoo and other attractions for the little ones, mechanical bull, good food, company, and entertainment… Let’s help make this a yearly event!
